I got my tooth extracted today while listening to Enya. my periodontists has a list of music to listen to while being worked on. I picked Enya cuz I can't help singing along to music so I had to pick something I couldn't sing along with. I didn't even feel it when he pulled the tooth out and he said that it will heal fine without getting a bone graft so i saved about $500. I still have a couple of other teeth that bother me so I'm sure they will be coming out sometime in the next few years but I'm glad I got this one taken care of. I asked him if I could keep it and it looks pretty nasty. I hope to God that Elle has great, strong teeth that she can keep til at least she's a grandmother.

Glad it went well! We didn't need another horror story of a bad dentist!
I've had all my wisdoms pulled b/c they were coming in sideways and 2 of my molars pulled all on the same day/visit (b/c I didn't want to do them on multiple visits), boy did they hurt and lots of bleeding. It didn't hurt while they were being pulled though, just lots of tugging.
I didn't get any replacements put in, finances basically. Hubby and I have crappy teeth and wish we could just get them all yanked and replaced.
Anyway, I'm glad that your extraction went well.
Oh, is your hubby overweight? Would it be easier if you worked as a team and supported each other to lose weight? Just wondering.
Ouch. Glad it went well and you won't need the bone graft.
