Konglish at it's best

The word for father in korean is Ah-Pah. So when I'm with Elle and we're about to see A-man, I say "it's Ah-pah" or Ah-Pah's here" etc. When A-man refers to himself to her, he says "daddy".

So about 3 weeks ago, Elle started to say Ah-Da!

Now, she just screams it out whenever she sees him.

It's the most adorable thing ever in my humble (yet biased) opinion.

Aww! Does it melt his heart? Does she call you umma or mommy?

She calls me Umma. I try to speak to her in korean all the time even though mine isn't all that great but it'll be nice to be able to talk behind a-man's back when she's older, ha ha ha. no, I just want her to be able to communicate with my parents.

That is seriously adorable!! She is going to be a bilingual smarty!!

You have to start working with her for my visit-- What is the Korean word for "my mom's gorgeous, intelligent and hysterically funny internet friend" ????? In English, it is Melissa :-)~
