It was only a matter of time.
She broke skin.
She bit my nipple. and it bled.
It didn't pour or anything, only a couple of drops of blood but it hurt like hell and back.
She finally did it.

aigo. i read this with horror. this is the first time i'm breastfeeding....will this day come for me too? ouch.
Sigh. My boys did that at 7 months and 5 months respectively. (early teethers--my 16 month old already has almost all his teeth, MOLARS included!)
Needless to say, after they both got a little tap on the cheek and had me almost falling out of the recliner in pain, neither of them had an interest in nursing anymore.
Bottles don't get made at you if you bite them I guess!

I'm sorry!! I totally know how you feel. Hopefully you are feeling better by now. It took a good 24 hrs or so for mine to heal after NJ bit me back in the day.
This is one of the many reasons I weaned my children around 12 months...teeth! Ouchie!
I feel your pain. I haven't had it break skin yet (knock on wood!) but it sure hurts like all hell when they bite down. And my kid doesn't even have top teeth yet!
